Winter readiness confirmed across Baltic stations
De-icing arrangements, holdover planning and turnaround contingencies are in place at all thirteen Baltic airports ahead of the season.
Ahead of the winter season we have confirmed de-icing capability, fluid availability and expected turnaround impact at every station in our Baltic network — from Tallinn and Riga down to the regional fields at Kärdla, Kuressaare and Pärnu.
Winter turnarounds fail on the same three things: fluid that is committed elsewhere, a rig that is shared between stands, and a holdover time that expires while the aircraft waits for a slot. All three are planning problems, not weather problems.
What we hold on file
- De-icing provider and fluid types available at each station
- Rig count and realistic queue times in heavy conditions
- Sequencing agreement between the handler and the de-icing provider
- A contingency stand and an alternate, briefed before departure
