Sofia operations control centre moves to round-the-clock cover
Our OCC now runs a staffed duty desk 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with a named controller on every shift.
From this month, the Balkan Flight Support operations control centre in Sofia is staffed continuously. Every shift has a named duty controller who owns the flights on their watch from first contact to on-blocks.
In practice this removes the handover gap that most trip support providers live with. A crew calling at 03:00 local reaches a controller who already has the trip file open, not an answering service that promises a callback.
